Doug and Buzzy are nice guys and great ambassadors for LSU but they’re awful radio tonight. Sounds like I’m listening to the Nicholls broadcast that comes through on 100.3 in NOLA.

Yes. But they were chatting with Roger Clemens, which was really neat to listen to. 3 college championship pitchers, including a GOAT MLB pitcher.

I find it so hard to believe that LSU would allow Doug to be a play by play guy. He is HORRIBLE at it. Someone in charge has to realize this. If I were an advertiser I would be furious. Are we to believe there is not another person in this town that they could bring on to do play-by-play for a few baseball games when Blair is away? They have to have people who follow this website. Look at the OP....32 upvotes and 1 downvote....so this isn't just one poster going on a rant that has no merit.

Yeah, they were that bad. Maybe even a little worse. Calling play by play is an actual talent. On the swinging bunt where the UT pitcher threw it to the bullpen Doug moaned “oh no” twice before saying he threw at an empty base. It was like he was the UT radio guy. Buzzy was even worse.
