Yea I’m surprised yet not surprised at the same time that Frank Wilson is just going to continue the narrative that Nuss is still and for some crazy reason should be still the starting QB.

Isn’t it amazing that coach after coach does not agree with chadr07’s conclusions? How can they all be so stupid? I agree with you that the leash will probably be shorter, but that’s because CFW’s main job now is to carry the fans across to Spring Football practice.

The real kiss of death is to run an RPO-heavy offense with no running game and a non -mobile qb.

Well there goes the R and with it the O so we are just left with the P.

any hole in the defense he would see it immediately and make them pay.

THIS is the most important criteria - don't have to be a speedster or a squirrel, although that helps, but just to take what is given with little effort keeps the drive alive.

If you refuse to eat anything but meat at the dinner table, you start being served nothing but bad meat.

And those QB’s are 100% healthy.

And so is Nuss. Quit thinking hes injured when even he denied it.

He's not hurt. He puts on for the cameras like he has the last 3 years.

Just like I’m sure they don’t agree with Penrods conclusions sometimes right? Or do you just agree with everything a coach says just because he’s a coach and it should be automatically right?

I think there are some things for which a fan can be on an equal footing with a coach, and there are a host of things we can’t. An example of the former is concluding that a team is lacking in toughness. That can be seen by anyone familiar with the sport. But whether the second string guy should be the starter is not something we can intelligently say. There are just too many things we don’t know. Maybe the second string guy has a virus. Maybe extended exposure in practice has resulted in him making mistakes. Maybe he doesn’t get us in the right plays well enough. Those are things the coaches know and we don’t.

You don't need a mobile QB, you need a QB coach who can teach the QB how to work a pocket.

That is a lost art. Pocket qbs no longer exist because nobody teaches that skill set.
