You can’t fabricate experience. Learning IS painful at first.

Don’t forget that this baseball team doesn’t have any players on the field with a season of baseball experience. This comes at a time when the rest of the league has almost everyone back from 2019. At this competition level, experience is costly. Stay positive. The talent will show up.

Like Ben Macdonald asked, “Why is this team so young?”

This is not Manieri’s first year with the program.

perhaps you should end your posting career at 21 so you don't subject the rant to more stupidity.

It’s not anyone’s fault. It’s just reality. We didn’t have much experience going into 2020 either with not as much talent. Beck...out, DiGiacomo...out. Beloso is the player with most experience and he is relegated to DH because the younger players are better.

This is the same exact excuse we heard a couple of years ago when he came into the season with nothing but freshman pitching. It’s his job not to put the program in this situation. He’s in charge of building the roster. Why didn’t he bring in some juco or upper classmen transfers? Every freaking year there’s a portion of the fanbase that wants to make excuses for this guy. Why? All he does is sit on his arse while his mediocre assistants are running the program into the ground. He’s had one great season in the past 8 years. One!

But it is....

and you're just practicing willful ignorance at this point.

Hill, Beloso, Fontenot, Hilliard, Beck, Dugas, Marceaux, Vietmeier, Doughty all have "a season of baseball experience"

This season is ell’s wet dream

Anyways, it’s Paul’s job to not put the program in a situation that has 3 dudes batting .100something in the lineup cause we don’t have anyone else

Ok, what Freshman would you rather not have in lieu of a transfer....any transfer. Good transfers in a year when everyone gets a free year of eligibility just weren’t as available. I like our players...PM will take the heat for going with what we have now, but this will change.

Ell recently tried to make fun of me because when the season started I posted that the this lineup would probably struggle at the plate until the second half of the season. He looks like a dummy now.

What are you talking about? There were tons of teams who had to trim their roster because they didn’t have room for all of their incoming freshman.

This is about as dishonest as it gets. You said they would start hitting better come SEC play and I said that’s dumb because the competition gets even better. Want me to link the conversation?

Mainieri is like the Pied Piper, and you’re one of the rats who will march right behind him into the water
