Was it against Sac State when Yorke was thrown out going from 1st to 3rd on a double?
I’m pulling for the guy to come through, but that was the worst base running I’ve ever seen at LSU.

Both on that play sucked arse. The entire team sucks arse and Jay's decisions go along with the play of these guys. Hopefully they turn it around and get hot.

Say you never played baseball just go ahead… You try to catch a short hop with a catchers mitt and see how successful you are.. the ball hit 3 feet in front of the catcher very difficult with the catchers mitt to corral that and yes, it’s like the third time that York has done that…

I mean it wasn’t the best throw no one is denying that. But the technique by the catcher was way off. It shouldn’t have been a short hop to begin with if he plays it like he should have and not stood like he’s about to deliver a tag and blocking the plate.

Yea, you almost have to address the fact that he really can’t move to second on anything that’s not a clear base hit or error.
He is a walking double play risk at first.

Where I agree he should have still fielded it, there's no reason Yorke shouldn't have been able to hit him in the glove, it was a poor throw.
