Paul Casey said after the game that they weren't doing anything against Gilbert so they started with the goal of driving his pitch count up. Gilbert threw 70 pitches in less than 3 innings.

Is it so freaking hard to make an adjustment like that? LSU continues to hit early count pop ups and allow their pitcher to throw 8 innings.

Team has struggled to hit good pitching all year. Only exception was Kentucky & Ark in SECT and State in Super Regional.

These two statements right here show how ignorant you are. I'm just not sure which is more ignorant... The fact that you think we struggled against good pitching "all year" or that you think an exception of our struggles was State in the SR. The only good pitcher State had shut us down for 7 innings, and as soon as he was gone, we scored 18 runs in 11 innings.

It is also easier to put pressure on the pitcher when you are good at baserunning. Oregon state mastered that and we looked lost.

Hitting has been on a steady decline since SEC tourney. MSU and FSU handed us games with errors. We have no chance unless bats get hot again. And fast.

Gilbert pitch count ran up thanks to errors.

Yes that was a factor, as well as the OSU hitters continuing to foul off pitches from Gilbert

Yep, I'm ignorant buddy. I have a Masters and a Doctorate.... Don't think that qualifies for ignorance. What about you?

We were hitting the ball, don't know why people say we weren't. The ball could not find the gaps.... Not many times our Batters had struck out.

Are your masters and doctorate degrees in baseball? I have a feeling they aren't.....

I didn't see Robertson get close to a hit. Also didn't see Deichman get close.

Obviously you didn't watch the right game.

Was no one watching Kramers last AB or something?

That's what I keep saying. They must have turned the TV off before the game was over.

No, my education is not in baseball. Just a fan. So I assume you have a Masters in Baseball since you are calling other people ignorant?

I never called you ignorant, but listing all of your degrees does nothing to show your level of knowledge in terms of baseball. Also, I haven't been called out for being ignorant.

No, no you don't. If you did then maybe you would be educated enough to know that you are educated in some things and ignorant in other things.

You are ignorant towards baseball.

LSU seems tight as a vice when it comes to CWS - or before sometimes - recently.

Teams that do well in CWS seem to play loose. Going from 8+ runs/game to 3 runs/game isn't all competition. LSU played in a great baseball conference.
