Beloso

The one person on the team that has proven he can hit SEC pitching? Makes sense

Cuz

That weak infield pop up for the 20th time this year is why

Beloso, Milazzo or whichever other Jibronis is playing catcher. Take your pick.

There are like 12 or 13 guys that should be in the everyday lineup. Problem is, you have to choose 9 of them to play

At the very least, you have to consider a lefty/righty rotation between Travinski/Beloso. I think Beloso will start hitting but i'm not sure Travinkski doesn't offer more upside.

You lose games when you keep people in lineups strictly due to seniority.

And you have to find any way you can to get big league capable bats in the lineup. Travinski is one of those bats.

It’s pretty obvious who offers more upside

But when you are as inexperienced as LSU’s lineup you don’t sit the one guy that has proven success in the SEC. if Beloso continues to struggle when conference play starts I can then think about a change but I’m giving him that shot first.

So because he hit SEC pitching two years ago when he was fat, we should believe that he will turn it around during conference this year after this abysmal non-conference stretch ? I want to see Travinski get some DH time

Beloso is not in the lineup due to seniority. He’s in the lineup because he’s proven he can hit.

He’s putting the ball in play and hitting several hard that aren’t ending up in hits. He has the fewest strikeouts and 3rd highest OB% of any of the starters.

If he’s such a good and experienced SEC hitter then he’ll be fine to come in and play if Hayden struggles. Really couldn’t be much worse than he is right now.

Sure he could. He could be a lot worse. He is consistently putting the ball in play.

Do you realize Beloso hit 3 balls over 100mph today? Just didn’t find any holes
