Maybe that’s why it’s frustrating. The guy was good enough to take a shite roster in year 1 and win the West. Now; he’s got the coaches and players he chose and is having a hard time even replicating year 1.
Not to mention things like CONSTANTLY getting out to slow starts and being undisciplined as frick has nothing to do with a roster he’s inherited 3 years ago.
It’s okay to have serious criticisms about Kelly while also not thinking he’s the worst coach ever. There’s a fair middle ground.

You don’t just say well that year didn’t count because that year we were supposed to suck.
You can say you don’t judge his coaching ability on year 1, but year 1 still counted.

Are really going to suggest that YOU speak for LSU? And define what’s acceptable in wins and losses.
We’re already back to being a consistent winner. Championships are harder to achieve now with portal and NIL.

Are you really going to suggest that this message board isn't for fans to express opinions on LSU related topics, including year 3 expectations? The OP was just expressing his opinion as a fan. Even Kelly said he should be judged by year 3. It's now year 3. We're off to a good start and the meat of the schedule is still in front of us. A reasonable expectation is to make the cut for the playoffs. We're on track for that now.

1 2nd rounder and no others before the 4th in the 2023 draft. So the others were all coached up by Kelly and his staff. FAIL.

House definitely failed in year two and his staff didn’t recruit well enough beyond DE and LB. That falls on the head coach.
I would agree with you in the present if the current staff didn’t look as promising as they do and recruiting hasn’t taken a complete 180. At least it looks like the problems are being addressed.
