Disagree, the negativity adds to the problem. We know we have problems and we know what they are. The negative posts do nothing but add insult to injury.

Never happens.

Not only would the recruiting class fall, players would transfer as well.

The new transfer rule could be HUGE for the next head coach.

If its an ugly loss...quite possibly

If it's an ugly loss, he's fired. Kentucky is not good enough to hammer LSU unless the Tigers play just that poorly.

If he loses the next 2, it's over. I don't think you can fire a coach with a 3rd loss to a decent opponent.
Now if the 4th loss is to UF... you are under 0.500 with most of your SEC West schedule remaining....That will be when it is done.

no, but it's just a matter of time. Even if we beat Kentucky, we then have FL, Ole Miss, and Bama. Those are 3 sure losses (and we still have Arky and A&M).

After getting destroyed by Bama, we'll be either 5-4 or 4-5. Either way, then O will get canned.

If we lose to UK, then it'll get moved up a week, after Ole Miss drops 60 on us.

Now, a lopsided loss to UK and I think Woodward might pull the trigger.

SW may already gave the replacement, I mean he’s been looking since last year after the MSU loss, and why do we care about the recruiting class being intact so much. Didn’t we just go through the last 4-5 years and determine that despite the class ranking, the production and development has been crap?

Nay, he’ll finish the season, have to try to keep the recruiting class together

Surely O sees the writing on the wall that he isn’t going to be coaching at LSU next year. Do you think he’s honestly recruiting anymore? I would say the longer he’s the coach the more damage is being done to recruiting.

if we get blown out, I could see it happening.

I don't think we're far from getting absolutely destroyed in a game, either.

If that short clip from practice yesterday is a true indication of how practice is going this week, which I believe it is, then this team is about to get fricking destroyed by Kentucky this weekend. Let that sink in, DESTROYED BY KENTUCKY.

No, I don’t see them firing him if we lose to UK.

Now lose to UK, UF, and Ole Miss, yeah I can see them letting him go on the bye week.

I think the nail is in the coffin at this point barring some outrageous 5-0 run over the next 5. That said I dont believe they will cut him loose until the end of the season barring some drastic off the field issue like the title IX stuff coming up again or something like that.

this is the correct answer

that said, if something embarrassing on or off the field happens, then anything is possible, but i think he makes it through most if not the whole season mainly because you literally have no one in house to take over that would make any difference and they might be a worse screwup then ed is

No they don't. I travel daily and listen to various sports stations. O is a joke nationally and laughed at. LSU is laughed at for hiring and keeling this guy. He's a national embarrassment. You need to get out more

I travel for work as well and literally heard an interview this morning with Chris Childers and Rick Neuheisel talking about him. They said the natty should buy him a few years and his seat is only luke warm right now. Could get scalding hot next year if he doesn’t turn it around. Have heard others with similar takes. Maybe you should get out of the Louisiana bubble more.
