So how did RJ Luis specifically get an injunction from Eboni’s daddy before the football players got their injunctions in their completely different case without Luis ever being mentioned in anything related to the case?
The only certified class action case that gave a blanket TRO for others from the 2022 class not named in lawsuit was with the federal judge from Colorado, and her TRO got stayed. I don’t even think Luis would have qualified under her TRO anyway as she kept in place the rules on professionals. Luis voluntarily leaving school early after 2024-2025 season with a year of eligibility remaining to go pro adds another problematic aspect above the situation with the 2 football players. There is no he just went pro because he was told that he played out his eligibility until 5th year added in June angle to play.
EDIT: Sorry. I just reread the OP and realize now the OP was saying this current deal is about Luis and not that Luis is the worst case of the players from the court cases; so I didn’t read your comment understanding it’s correct context when responding.
