I will always look at Nuss’s career here as he was playing hurt and he gave 100%. He was a great QB that will shine brighter at the next level simply because he was injured and misused here. What BK did with him doesn’t disparage his spirit. He will be a great rep of Tiger Nation.

Kid is all heart and he put it all on the line for his school every time he took the field.

Nuss was cheated under miserable Brian Kelly’s bad system. He tried to play while injured but that obviously didn’t work. His only chance was if he could have run for his life like Jayden Daniels had to.

It’s time we ease up on this young man and wish him success. Who knows, being healthy and with a mental reset under competent coaching in the NFL he may do well and I hope he does.

You see, there was this one game where he abandoned the team...

I don't think throwing shite at him is the answer, but also I'm a little sick of the coddling.

He was not good this year. He was much better last year. He was obviously injured. There was something fricky going on behind why he didn't sit. He should have sat, I don't know why he didn't, but the lack of clarity around it pretty much throws all goodwill I had for him out the window.

Great Tiger, but also he's about to be 24 years old. Most of us here at 24 had nobody. He's got all the support in the world, he doesn't need internet strangers hand holding him as well. Again not to say shite on the kid, but this rah rah bullshite is out of hand considering the play last year.

Needs a dominant OL to function. Our OL let him down badly the past 2 years but I hoped to see some growth in his pocket awareness.

No one is looking to bash Nuss, but $4 MIL to come in unprepared, bad pre snap reads, bad clock management, horrible check downs, etc. gets you a lot of heated reactions to call out the white washing of his final season.

He mailed it in and coasted on the supposed "elite" arm talent with putrid results.

Good luck to him and hope he has a good career in the NFL. Surely, some team will pick him up on name alone.

And before the defendants come in about the horrible O line play, there are many really good QB's that overcome this week after week.

did you count the 2022 UGA game with that? Probably only looked at the games after Dellinger was injured and blame all the Oline crap on him like no run game since 2019. Jayden Daniels WAS the LSU run game in 2023 with broken plays.

Nussmeier has small hands...8.75 inches. They made a big deal over Burrows hand size and they were over 9.

Let me know 5 qbs starting next yr with better natural arm talent, or pre snap read adjustments in cfp. Was hurt and pair it with dog poo oline and oc, nightmare

Not sure “pre snap adjustments” to throw behind the line of scrimmage every time, but he def has the arm talent.

Nuss’ biggest issue at LSU was he didn’t have it between the ears. Whether you call it panicking or he misjudged too much…

The NFL is light years faster and he needs to fix whatever causes him to panic mid-play to be successful. Rooting for him

The way that LSU “fans” were shitting on this kid last year should be criminal.
