The fake field goal was the only play that really bothered me but I'm not gonna focus on that play and say that play would have changed the game. They didn't even score te next drive.

We should have won. Our D went cold at the wrong time. It happens. It happened to Bama las year in Tuscaloosa.

Guess what though? We get Bama again next year. Probably in primetime. Probably a top 5 matchup. With an improved offense and hopefully a healthy team. Our defense will be stout in the secondary and LB core and our DLine will have had time to gel.

Move on. We didn't get every bounce. The refs missed a crap ton of calls.

Copeland had a bad flag.

Hill made an error in judgement at the end.

We don't get the first down with Ware.

Alleman missed kicks.

We blitzed and got eat with a screen.

We were down 13-3 at half.

Guess what? We are still a Top 3-5 team (maybe 2) despite our recor and true rank.

These guys are 18-24 years old. They mess up sometimes. But they learn and get better. If you win them all it would get stale real quick despite how great we say it would be to never lose. It's just gonna make it that much better when we get over the hump and "restore order".

It was not a moral victory! It was great effort and play by the team and coaches that you've been screaming for all year. Some of you people need to get a grip. This is a great program on the right track! Damn yes I am proud.

You can be proud and express any emotion you wish. But don't presume to tell me what I should feel or anyone else.

Yea 2 years ago in the swamp if the ball bounces an 1 further forward he would have been called the biggest fool in history, but the ball bounced and we got the win so it was genious. You idiots can't have it both ways

That was a long FG on the road. It was just bad, but successful execution of a good call that COULD work. Saturday night FG fake - Uhhh....no.

Couldn't agree more. The game plan was fantastic. Miles took some risks I wouldn't have but hey like you said they went down swinging.

I am with you. I am proud of the LSU team for their performance. And Les showed some "balls" with his play calling. So, not everything worked. He would do something different NOW!

But, as an LSU fan living in Alabama, I will wear the purple & gold proudly. Les was brave & this attitude will carry over to the team. Bama can talk about how bad they played all that they want, but what happened to them last night was so much worse than they thought, that it has more to do with LSU's talent than their mistakes.

It was AMAZING to see! I haven't been more excited about the future of LSU football in a number of years.

So, this is the new normal? We're supposed to be happy when we lose to Alabama, even when our players are just as good as theirs and when we play at home?

Talking whit a buddy in FL. The gumps he knows are criticizing CNS for a shitty game plan and almost costing them a bid for the NC. Seems their fan base is as screwed up as ours.

Well the players had it won. Chavis decided to be soft as charmin toilet paper and let them march down the field. I don't agree with all of Miles' gambles lastnight but hell people were begging for the Mad Hatter. Well we got him and you know, considering many people including gues like you thought we would get our shite pushed in. I am pretty damn proud of the players AND coaches

The "mistakes" of Miles are only mistakes because they didn't work. The only play I am critical of the coaching staff is in the final 2-3 minutes.

Not playing for the win 3rd & long - Your QB and WRs are in rhythm and moving the ball every time. The game is a heavyweight fight and both squads had very capable talent. The coaches did a fine job all game getting them in a position to win it, but 3rd & long they lost trust in their players and didn't let them try to win it.

EDIT: I'd also add that although I disagreed with Mile's decision at the end, he had a tough decision. He put faith in his defense which he's been used to doing for years now. Even though it was the wrong call, I can't fault him entirely for choosing it.

I don't know a single fan who is happy when we lost to Bama. Everyone is upset. But I'm not mad. Oddly enough I've realized life is more than football and I won't let a bunch of immature but talented twenty year olds ruin my life.

We played well an lost. But I saw alot of promise that eases my tension about Mett and the offense. The defense was stout except for the end of 1st and 2nd halves.

Move on

Proud of the team and proud of the coaching, if we play anywhere like that for the rest of the season, we end up in a BCS bowl.

How will that work?

important foundation laying steps were made last night.

Are you serious? The foundation was built years ago.

Went down swinging, can't blame him. I'd much rather see that than sitting on his hands like last years NC game.

So you're defending him, but criticizing him at the same time? You make so much sense.

No other coach in the country can compete on the level Les Miles and Nick Saban have.

Please don't put Miles in the same category as Miles. There are numerous coaches that can compete on a BETTER level than Miles.

You shouldn't be making mistakes like he did when he gets paid 4 million a year.

Hell no, it's supposed to sting..we LOST.

That being said, we played a HELLUVA game and showed signs that his program is alive and well. We played up to our talent. That can't be said for the rest of the games we played this season.

I'm pumped because, while we lost and it STINGS, it shows the world that we are a force to be recognized and we aren't going anywhere. We'll be here, better than ever next week and every week after that.

Offensive adjustments were needed to be made to make this team great for the future and they were made and displayed last night.

Name a coach who averages 10 wins a year in the best conference in America? (who wasnt given a heart condition by the stress ala Urban)

Last night proved how close Saban and Miles are.

Bob Stoops
Gary Patterson
Chip Kelly
Urban, who you already named

I would take at least half the coaches in the SEC right now over Miles

Richt
Muschamp
Spurrier
Mullen
Sumlin
Saban
