It seems like every game people are predicting Skylar Mays will have a big day. I reckon if we keep saying it, it will have to happen. he always contributes in other ways, though, so as long as he keeps that up, it's alright.

Yeah, he did. That way largely due to going 10-12 at the line from that game, as he still didn't shoot particularly well from the field. But he WAS clutch in that game, and LSU doesn't win it without him, no question.
Outside of that game, it's been a rough couple of months for him, offensively. If he could somehow get hot from the outside as he was entering conference play, to go along with his ability to get to the rim and make free throws, that would make a huge difference.
Think of all the close games we've had in the games we've both won and lost, where nobody but maybe Waters was hitting from the outside. If one more guy gets hot, that changes everything.
