They had proof of Freeze calling the escort service 48 times.

Ole Miss was not punished by the NCAA for any of that.

The link says agents paid the players.

How is Saban or the University of Alabama connected to this?

That's what led to the investigation

i went to LSU in the mid 1980s. I wasn't connected to the athletic dept, but I have first hand knowledge of:
1. Stafford Johnson, of the basketball team, drove a fancy sports car. Just after he got kicked off the team, I saw another basketball player driving the exact same car
2. John Williams, from South Central LA, was driving a red 5- series BMW.
3. My friend worked at a nice men's clothing store, and said Don Redden charged $800 on a credit card that wasn't his.
4. I had a friend that got a copy of a test, the night before the test, from Jeff Wickersham, the starting QB.

And I'm not connected at all. Can you imagine the other shite that went on?

This stuff goes on everywhere.

No, it’s not.

The NCAA doesn’t give a shite if a coach is fricking hookers.

Ole miss fired him because of it, yes. But the NCAA was no involved with that.

And we have a player that "thought" about pulling a fast one on the urine sample then back off spending years in prison
Disgusting

The school was being sued by Houston Nutt which led to the finding of the calling of the escort service which led to the dismissal which then led to a deeper investigation into the program.

Think what you want but it's been noted in several documents that the phone records and the escort service led to a deeper investigation once they learned of wrong doing.

EDIT: It took 5 years...but the events of Freeze, and Tunsil got the ball rolling a lot quicker

Completely false. The NCAA had already concluded their investigation of Ole Miss when the escort thing came out.

Uh. Ole Miss released the NOAs in June. That means the investigation was wrapped up already. Freeze resigned in July.

Either way it’s moot. Hugh Freeze and hookers were not even a remote interest to the NCAA. They would have never investigated that unless they were provided with evidence that the hookers were for players.

You also have two Tennessee player and two Moo State players. Did they get investigated and not Bama? Or did none of them get investigated?

When players are paid by agents they lose their eligibility and you may end up forfeiting games, except at bama .

They had people willing to talk and blow the lid on this shite and the NCAA ran for cover

And the agents in question were bama alum

I’m pretty sure Fluker admitted to being paid, but keep on pretending Bamas clean

So did Quarterman, and there are articles with all of these so called "sources" showing Simmons and Martin having accepted cash for play and nothing happened.

No university is clean but it takes more than these articles and "sources" as proof.

Johnny football accepted bribes and nothing came out of it.

I'm not saying Bama ain't cheating I'm saying it isnt proof needed to get sanctions. Which is why I used us as an example to show it's not a conspiracy that only applies to Bama not getting sanctions.

Ill never say his name but one of my high school teammates cane from a poor family. But he somehow got a brand new Chevy Silverado in Crimson red soon after committing to Bama in 2011. I been knew about their tactics.

Saban knowingly lets agents pay his players and he provides access to the players and aggregates talent. Quid pro quo. That’s pretty obvious.

For LSU fans, don’t get too high and mighty because we do it too.
