Don't tease me.

So bama gets to keep cheating and stacking up national championships because some LSU basketball players took money?
Why can’t they all be punished?
Why can’t they all be punished?

That's not what I said.

Of course LSU does it and so does every other major college program. You have to be really naive to think "your team" doesn't cheat.

See my comments in another thread. Well, now it seems that there is more than circumstantial evidence for the mentally challenged among us. Anyone who still believes that 'Bama does not play by a separate set of rules is just plain stupid.

Tulane doesn't cheat.
Source: our record.

That is completely false. They do not have phone records of Saban asking did you pay said player or players. They had proof of Freeze calling the escort service 48 times. This is not proof and do you know how many people claimed we paid Jerell Martin, Ben Simmons, and Tim Quarterman and showed articles with "sources" providing the proof and the NCAA never investigated? Stop being obsessed with Bama and thinking it's a conspiracy.
You are correct, sir.
The rest of you LSU fans have short dick syndrome when it comes to bama.
Maybe LSU should’ve taken a page out their book and hired the best coach available.
If you don’t think just about every big school breaks the rules, you’re naive.

Tulane is more a mid major. I meant programs like Florida, Michigan, USC, etc.

Even if they had video tape of it with written confessions wouldn’t matter. It would all be dismissed

Alabama is a cash cow for the NCAA. They will do nothing to jeopardize that unless people just get sick of seeing them in the playoffs every year and ratings plummet.
This is god damn stupid.

FUN FACT: Nick Saban’s cleaner is Mark Emmert.

I agree with you. Besides, there are no conspiracies.

I live how people say quit talking about bama but yet half the rant and taken the bait and believes we fail because of our own ability or lack of it only. Sort of social Darwinism of football. They are better because Saban is God and we are shite. We are destined by God to be second fiddle because we like to eat and party too much, it’s such fricking bullshite. I have lived in this damn state (bama) for over a decade and these Mfers will “fix” a 5 year old t-ball game. Cheating and rigging shite is It’s as much bama culture as jazz music and Cajun food is in Louisiana.
The damn truth is that some “pigs are more equal than others” and college football is less about Xs and 0s and more about Jimmies and Joes. (Hence Sabans flame out in NFL)
They have a NFL rooster and a NFL payroll as well as being biggest user of HGH on the planet.
Ever wonder how Kirby Smart leaves and they have top recruiting class immediately? Kids just want to play for unproven coach immediately? He can get 3 5 star running backs, including from right under LSUs nose?
Surely we can’t all be this ducking stupid?
Let me end the mystery for you. My dad waa a bagman for an SEC school. They all know each other. Half of the same guys from the 80s are still at it. (Or it’s their kids now) Bama has 10 times the number of bagman of any other school and they have it down to a art. You can’t spend billions and not catch up. Auburn tried.
Even when Saban leaves they will still be there. The bama bad years were not simply bad coaching but serious NCAA problems which made them cheat at the level of everyone else. Ole Miss should be fuming. They just tried to emulate bama and got destroyed after they started beating them.
This story just shows it for what it is worth. I have ask dozens of sports reporters, college football analyst etc about this over the years and no one, not one single person has been able to give me an explanation. Most of them just laughed etc.
Jack Arute when he was on Sirius college radio had the best explanation. “By now you surely know the rules don’t really apply to everyone.”

Emmett and $atan are butthole buddies. The chance of something helping to him are about the same as the chance of Joe Alleva negotiating a good contract.

When players are paid by agents they lose their eligibility and you may end up forfeiting games, except at bama . They had people willing to talk and blow the lid on this shite and the NCAA ran for cover And the agents in question were bama alum
Who gives a shite. Bama has mind fricked so many of you so badly its incredible. Everybody cheats. Are you going to sit here and think that your squeaky clean beautifully ran LSU tigers haven't paid a player in any sport. Get a grip on reality. If LSU actually beat them for a change you wouldn't give two shits about it.

For all of the talk about the supposed Decline and The Rematch breaking Miles, that 2013 season actually marked the beginning of the assault on the LSU program and Miles himself that led to his eventual ousting.
That Alabama investigation came out at almost to the day that the Miles/Oklahoma State Sports Illustrated hit piece broke. It was coordinated, and also came right after the big win over TCU when it finally looked as though we had the passing game that Tiger Nation had been waiting to see.
For that Ok State made up non story to a huge story to dominate news coverage for days when actual pay for play allegations were PROVEN against a current coach on his way to a three peat was absolute confirmation that everything that we all thought after Alabama and Saban were given their Mulligan, that the fix was in.
It must have been a deflating realization that no matter what, Saban was always going to control the narrative and we'd never be given on a level playing field.
In fact, for the entire offseason before in 2012, Sports Illustrated spent months searching for violations at LSU while trumping up a nonsense article on Mathieu as some kind of troubled pariah during his suspension, and couldn't find anything. Which is when they decided to head to Stillwater to dig up old dirt from disgruntled former players.
This was a coordinated attack against Miles and honestly it's pretty incredible he survived it as well as he did.
That was also right after Freeze's now infamous haul with the 13 class that was obviously not on the up and up, which led to those critical losses in 13 and 15. It just seemed like Miles had a realization that he and LSU were always going to be fighting a losing battle.
Despite all that, he fights back and goes out and signs the best class in school history, and almost immediately his own Athletic Director begins the Miles clause that disrupted that offseason, which without question set a negative tone leaving Chavis with basically one foot out the door and looking to move on before that season even started.
It's so deflating how things turned out after The Rematch, when we went from the top of the college football world to being actively torn down from multiple assaults both outside the program and within.
