All these top programs cheat. ALL OF THEM.
But officials look the other way when they are snooping around Duke, UK, KU, UNC, et al.
Which is why all will Wade needs to do is get it in through the back channels that he has dirt on all those programs as well. That will back the dogs off.

Yes, people have to talk to other people, but it doesn't have to be over phone. It's not that hard

Some of the statements wade made are pretty dern incriminating, but if the phone calls is the only evidence they have once the trial is underway they couldnt get hit Wade and LSU too hard.
I’m hoping just a slap on the wrist and let Wade know if he does anything again he’s f*cked

when they find the tutors Will Wade was offering up, this will all clear. The tutor was the guy Hawkins was talking about.

In a different telephone call with Dawkins, Wade joker that the player would be compensated more than the rookie minimum
Is that for real?

Where are you getting this?

Read the story and it isn't nearly as bad as some of the trolls make it out to be.
Optics are worse, but in terms of the NCAA doing anything is yet to be seen.
We will find out in due time if anything illegal was done for Smart and his Mom and also the Middle Man. Until then hold your butts.

But 2 of those 3 were caught in major scandals over the last few seasons so apparently they don’t.

Again those were hypothetical rebuttals but I’m not surprised you couldn’t tell the difference. Go away now go bother someone els with your stupidity.

Our Student Athletes deserve the best academic guidance our university can provide

Don't ever talk to the FBI.
1. Wade had no reason to know or think Dawkins phone was tapped, and why would he?
2. Wade didn't talk to the FBI

coming up with hypotheticals that have 0% of being true makes you a dumbass

I know this is a Poli-Board Rant, but regardless of coach and school, doesn’t the FBI have bigger things to do than worry about collegiate recruiting misdeeds?
Between wasting resources by focusing on stuff like this, and on the other hand trying to soft-coup a sitting President, I don’t believe these are ‘the good guys’ anymore.

thought about that but why would Dawkins be helping out if he wasn’t the middle man. Like why use two middlemen? Ya know?
If I understand the scheme correctly, Dawkins has this idea to start a company called Loyd, Inc. that would pay players throughout their college career (presumably using money paid to it by schools) in hopes that those players would use Dawkins and his partners as agents.
So, it was supposed to go something like this:
1. Dawkins shops a kid around to schools.
2. Schools make offers for players they want.
3. Presumably, highest bidder wins
4. Loyd, Inc. (Dawkins’ company) sets up payment plan, employs kid’s family, funnels benefits to player while they are in college
5. Player declares for draft and uses Loyd Inc as his agent
6. Loyd Inc. gets a cut of contract, endorsements, etc.
As best I can tell, the feds are trying to show that Dawkins was trying to bribe players and/or schools in an effort to secure an agent/player relationship.
Dawkins’ defense team is trying to show that the schools were complicit in this scheme and were the ones reaching out to Dawkins and offering him money to steer players to their school.

if the NCAA can overlook outrageous academic fraud at a supposed "Public Ivy" like North Carolina, I don't know how they can penalize LSU for this.
UNC had good attorneys that successfully argued that it was outside the purview of the NCAA's authority and it was rather an accreditation board issue, which is why the school, like the entire school, was but on probation by the accreditation board.
