The one saving grace is there’s still no hard mention of money or payment. It’s just “offer” that in context sounds an awful lot like money.

But until there’s hard proof that the offer referred to illegal benefits then there’s still hope we’ll be able to wiggle out of it. We’ll see

Well like that supposed quote of Wade saying
“enough piece of the pie in the deal” and instead “tilted” the offer toward the player and his mother. He’s supposed to be talking to Dawkins so why would he be talking about Dawkins like he’s not there? He’s calling Dawkins the third party while he’s directky addressing him on the phone? Nah nobody speaks that’s way.

Only reasonable inference is there is another party to whom the offer was made.

when did the government get involved with college recruiting

It was a bribery investigation.

How much Dawkins discloses will decide if the NCAA comes after LSU or not.

I thought about that but why would Dawkins be helping out if he wasn’t the middle man. Like why use two middlemen? Ya know?

Instant recruiting success turns heads. I remember when Ole Miss hauled in that monster football class a few years ago, everyone knew.

He's talking about Dawkins' middleman.

Smart was allowed to choose the slogan "Boot Up". That was part of the offer and has been public knowledge for months.

Also, the way the article reads, you could easily surmise that Kentucky and Kansas were offering the middleman X amount, and we offered less than that, which complicated things and caused the middleman and Wade to be frustrated with each other.

This is complete bullshite. The public needs to drop this perception about the Fifth Amendment. It's there to protect you from overzealous prosecutors. You should always assert your right against self-incrimination.

“In a different telephone call with Dawkins, Wade joker that the player would be compensated more than the rookie minimum.”

But he’s talking directly to him. If I were using you as the middleman in a deal would I be talking about you like you were another person trying to figure out how to satisfy that other person using your help? People don’t converse that way under any circumstances.

Dawkins had many associates, including people at Adidas and ASM sports. Read some more before calling people names

Not even the same topic. Go look for attention elsewhere, what the guy you insulted didn’t reply or something?
