There’s no doubt that Braswell needs to make a better throw. But but scooping balls in the dirt and catching pick offs is what makes a good defensive first baseman. If you can’t do that you are simply average. Which is fine, jones isn’t in the lineup for his defense.

Why are we all of a sudden getting out of the way from HBPs? Jones and Kling both avoided them. Got on anyway bc error and eventual HBP, even tho tried to get out of the way the second time also

Larson could but then you don’t have a spot for all of Jones, Travinski, and Neal. Jones is going to be the first baseman this year, I don’t think that’s even a question.

I think they key is keeping the feet in the box, not necessarily staying in place.
