Naming a starting today would contradict what Kelly said during his interview with Emily a few days ago. Essentially, no one had separated themselves yet. They will be putting the QBs in situations throughout this week that will help create separation. So if Daniels is named the starter today, that would mean it was between him and Brennan, and Nuss was a distant 3rd. That contradicts what reporters have been saying for the last week or so.

Really hope his accuracy has come a long. This is will look a lot like the Notre Dame offense with Kizer

He can't transfer anywhere in the SEC if that's what he wants. He'd probably wait to do that and even if that was in his mind, he'd get the job next year. Daniels isn't staying here past this season. Also, Daniels looks like a toothpick that can be broke in half. Very real chance he gets in the game for that reason alone and I'd even suspect both of them have short leashes for struggling due to neither being a huge separation. I wouldn't even be shocked by a 2 QB system. We'll see.

So 2900 yards 60% completion with 26 TDs and 9 INT?

My interest in LSU football is decreasing exponentially today.

Might watch a couple games this season, but will switch focus to hunting/fishing and the Saints

Why because you think you know more than the coaches? Your favorite Qb didn't make the cut today? Pretty pathetic if you ask me.

All we've heard the last 2W is "i want the best QB for the job to start".. "i root for LSU not a particular QB", etc. etc.

Melt!

He also just arrived and had little knowledge of the offense.

They all just arrived and all of them have little knowledge of the offense.

Hope they fixed his footwork like they said. Those jump shot looking passes he was throwing in the spring was not inspiring.

Nuss transferring if Daniels gets the nod

I don’t think the kid is THAT short sighted. I’m also positive this coaching staff, that has real & competent coaches on it will impress upon Nuss that him staying would benefit him far more than leaving. But that’s just me.

Whether it’s Nuss or Daniels … we ride in 3 weeks, least GEAUX!
