We beat their number 1 team in the country last year in a pre season game, by 15+.

Baylor is just way more athletic than gonzaga. It's really shocking.

Well, that doesn't surprise me. We all know that louisiana is a powerhouse and is pretty much the richest state in the nation when it comes to athletic talent per capita. We just know how to play ball down here and have outstanding athletes.

Baylor stuck with a coach for 17 years to win a national championship even though in his first 3 seasons his team's never won over 10 games. LSU fans would have wanted him fired in season 2.

I only saw Gonzaga play once in the regular season this year against motherfreaking pacific. Pacific DRAGGED THEIR BALLS across ganzaga's face for 25 minutes before the zags woke up and won.
I understand teams aren't up all the time, and the zags sleepwalked through that pacific game. But I could see they had limited athletic ability compared to top teams in major conferences.
Gonzaga would lose several games a year in a top league. They may still win that league, but wouldn't go undefeated. I'm also aware they regularly play a tough non-conference schedule, and typically do well. I think Few will have to take a top power 5 job to win a natty. Time will tell.
To finally end the story, I drove up to Dover, DE Monday and dropped a grand to win $1950 on Baylor ML. One of the easiest and most relaxed bets I've won.

And that could change very, very quickly.
Just three seasons ago LSU was the SEC champ and 3 seed in the NCAAT. Baylor was 4th in the Big 12 and a 9 seed that advanced only to 2nd round of the NCAAT where they were beaten fairly soundly by...Gonzaga.
The year before that Baylor missed the NCAAT all together. In the SIX years prior to this season's NCAAT Baylor had won a total of 3 NCAAT games. LSU has won 3 since Wade took over.
That's not to minimize what Drew has accomplished there, but fortunes can change very quickly in CBB. Wade doesn't have LSU at a national championship level right now...but Drew didn't have Baylor there just three seasons ago either

Not getting Jared Butler from Reserve was the fallout of the Johnny Jones firing. Did he sign in the fall? Too bad CWW couldn't get him in BR for the good guys.
