Aranda....the offense is doing enough to win, but not with this defense

I'll take fixing the bottom dwelling defense that hasn't even played the good teams yet.

On the positive side, we are 51 in scoring defense. So not completely bottom dwelling in that important metric.

Aranda all day. The offense is scoring enough to win. Defense is the biggest liability.

Aranda May also have been holding things together as 2nd in charge.

While I agree, it doesn’t really matter, both Brady and Aranda saw what was coming and moved on to a different job.

However, this team has been demolished by losing so many key players.... not an excuse... just saying.

There is ZERO leadership on this team... that means ALOT.

I wish Brady liked all of college football, because he is an absolute badass.

I love the idea of red zone efficiency.

I am so thankful for last season, but I feel like unless you are Clemson you should have a HC lock down one side of the ball.

Time will tell.

Again, the offense is only good because of the short field from turnovers lol

And the defense is only terrible because the scheme sucks and the players have no clue what they're doing.

Mizzou was averaging 15ppg before playing us. State's offense didn't score against Kentucky and is averaging 8 ppg not against LSU.

There is no way to polish this turd. Please stop trying.

Aranda last. With either Burrow or Brady we'd just outscore everyone.

Aranda. With even a half assed defense, this team is undefeated.

Yeah but this defense isn't talented enough to be top of the line even under Aranda. If the offense doesn't show that they can sustain drives paired with a pretty good defense we're obviously better but not winning the division.

55% of LSU’s scoring has come off turnovers on short fields

Outside of that it’s a lot of PUNT PUNT PUNT

Burrow is a closer. Drive sustainer by any means possible.

Burrow + a defense that gives you extra possessions is a winning combination

Valid points. His ability to run and extend drives was undervalued last year in big games. The myth of offensive balance was largely due to Burrow picking up yards on the ground while games were still in doubt on designed pass plays.

Aranda. Aranda's 3-4 defense is agile for today's game. Aranda on the college level and Belichick on the pro level are just two of a very small handful of coaches that have adapted.

Sure there are more examples. In college? Very few.. Aranda and Venebles probably make up 50% of the list.

Offense has been inconsistent. 30th in punt attempts & they only punted 3x at Vandy. They just haven’t moved the ball consistently.

Passing numbers are inflated by a tilted pass:run ratio & playing in shootouts.

The defense has been consistent FWIW so again, you're not completely wrong
