Eyanson has shown the ability to be more economical in his pitches, and thus can possibly go deeper. I’d rather rely on our BP for fewer outs against DBU. Against Little Arky we can probably go the bottom of the BP after the starter exits. Also Eyanson has been nails the last few appearances.
If we can get through the first two games without burning Cowan, Shores, Noot and Evans I like our chances.

Follow consistently? No. Have a general knowledge of the team? Yeah. That doesn't take all that much effort and is enjoyable for those who like the sport of college baseball. Hopefully they will both end up facing them. If not the case, I hope he keeps the rotation the same.

because Jay said he used them the way he did in Hoover to allow freedom of using them based on matchups this weekend.
so Jay will decide if he wants to go lefty or righty in a potential DBU game, then the other one will throw against Little Rock.

This isn’t game 1. This is the biggest threat in the region. So you’re suggesting we can get away with not using either of our aces during the entire regional “unless we need to”? And then go into the Supers (if we get through) without getting work for either? I’m glad you’re not coaching, brother.

I think he’s probably already decided Anderson will throw Friday and Eyanson will throw Saturday, but that’s just my opinion.

That’s fair. I’ll do it I guess. I think he’s going to pitch them in the same order he has all year as well as the same order he’s going to next weekend.
