I don't think Belichick takes the job without UNC being fully committed to upping their NIL collective in football.

I'm sure they will up it but NIL numbers are usually exaggerated and $20 mil is Ohio State level high.

You admitting you are a football virgin who doesn't even understand anything about football is embarrassing. I have proven that Belichick is NOTHING without Tom Brady which is why he isn't even close to a .500 coach at any team without Brady being his QB. I gave the numbers for Belichick and you ran away like the little cowardly DIPSHIT you are. I will drive you even more crazy than you are now. Watch for my next comment like the little dog that you are. I'm playing with you so much it is funny! But keep watching for me. You are truly a sad excuse for a human being!

Yeah, you can tell the posters on this board who don't understand the modern day of college football...neither the environment nor the players. Saban quit by his own admission that he couldn't handle trying to develop players and then they just leaving on him in the portal. And Saban is a better coach than Belichick who was carried by Tom Brady. Belichick's HC record is dismal at both Cleveland and even New England when he didn't have Brady to carry him to wins. Brady leaves and the next year Brady has Tampa winning the Super Bowl.

Belichick is too old....isn't a great offensive mind to be kind and any OC he hires, he will interfere...won't be able to get along with the players {another Bo Pelini type}....will act as stupid with the media as always...and just like Saban won't be able to handle losing players to the transfer portal. Anyone who thinks Belichick will be a good college coach is downright stupid! He wasn't even a good NFL coach unless he had Brady with him. Robert Kraft figured it out and sent the clown packing!

But don't overlook just how ruthless BB was on personnel decisions. He was loyal to Brady but everyone else was fighting for a roster spot every day. No matter what you'd done in the past, no matter how much the fans loved you - when you lost a step Bill was making moves.

One of the most valuable assets that is unheralded that Brady brought to the team was his unselfishness. He gave up salary to free up salary cap space because his wife as he said one time was making plenty of money herself so they weren't hurting. That freed up money allowed the Patriots sign free agents they normally wouldn't have added to the roster. You can tell what happens these days if you don't take that approach. Ask Russell Wilson...ask Dak Prescott, etc Belichick had nothing to do with improving the team due to Brady being unselfish.

Everything you posted about Bill was true.
1. He never won without Brady. It is rare to win without good to exceptional QB play. They did have good defenses - which we found out was from stealing video their opponents practices. One title, Seattle gave them with the worst call in SB history.
2. Brady was unselfish. If Brady wanted a player to stay, he stayed. That is one of the only reasons Faulk was able to stay as long as he did. He knew how the Pats organization ran and was really great at protecting Tom.
3. This job is about being in control of a roster AND setting his son up more than anything else. He doesn’t need the money.
4. If the NCAA doesn’t change the rules on the transfer portal, he will be gone in a few years.
5. UNC will be good on defense IF they are allowed to but any player he wants in the offseason. He is still a really good DC.

Agree with everything you said. We also didn't mention "deflategate" where Brady and maybe Belichick also engineered putting less air in his footballs so he could grip the ball better...it was an important game in cold weather I believe...maybe an AFC CG. Of course, he denied it at first but pretty much admitted it years later. Anyone who would blame that on the ball boy as they suggested doesn't know the NE Patriots modus operandi. Nothing gets done at that time without the knowledge of Brady and/or Belichick.

His former players said he wasn't fun to play for. Winning was fun but being on a Bill Belichick coached team was rough. I just don't see many college aged kids that would be OK with that.

Have you ever, ever heard a kid say it’s fun to play for Kelly? Only difference is he doesn’t win either.

I'm literally pulling your strings like a puppeteer would do. If I was 13, how incredibly tragic for you that I'm proving you the total FOOL and you are too much of a clueless DIPSHIT to even realize it. Brady carried Belichick, a-hole, and that is a fact! Go play in the street!
