If it breaths, it needs a ticket to enter Tiger Stadium.
Which is BS ... if the kid can and will sit on your lap or stand in front of you ... should not have to burn a ticket.
Not BS. It's packed in there and there is no way you can keep a 7 month old in that little space without bothering everyone around you.

Me thinks CENLA just trolled y'all.....
The UABs, Kent States, and Furmans of the world are the worst type games for this (which is why I sell my tickets for those games). It just so happens that this is the first home game of the year, which means it will be packed with many of the actual season ticket holders rather than the people they sold to.

There was a couple near us last year who brought their baby to every home game. She seemed pretty content the whole time, and even had her own noise-canceling headphones (with a little bow on them).
It's not the same for everyone...and noise-canceling headphones do exist for babies.

If you were given (2) tickets to the game for Saturday and didn't have anyone to keep the baby, would you bring her??
as a parent of two, no.
i'm still debating this season if my 4 yr old is ready for it. thinking about bringing her to furman game.

4 year old vs. 7 month old
Late October vs. Mid September.
I'd go for that.

We plan on sneaking our 6 month old in the wife's purse. Hopefully we can still fit some alcohol in the purse too.
LOL. Hopefully you've been having it cut weight this week to make SURE there is extra room for alcohol!

Why would you consider this? You're going to ruin whoever is sitting next to you.

I wonder if some of you have kids. I have twin 16 month olds that my wife and I took to the Saints-Raiders preseason game and they were fine. They got a little fidgety around half so we left. I guess it's about expectations and knowing your kid. I really didn't care about the Preseason game so I figured if the kids weren't having a good time we would just leave, but they seemingly had a blast and didn't once interrupt people around us.
Now as far as the game this weekend, I would say no, mostly due to the heat. I think we are going to take the twins to the Furman game as long as the weather is fairly comfortable....again staying as long as they want to.

So no one thinks I should bring my 3-month-old to opening night on Feb. 14th?

Don't do it. I brought my daughter to baseball game at Rangers game twice when she was 6 months to 1 year old. Once in a seat and once in a suite. Both times not good for the baby, wife or you. Just wait until they are about 2 or 3.

Too loud bro.
I took a 6mo old to the spring game 2 years ago, but it isn't loud
Eta: those headphones might make it possible. It can't really hurt to try, be ready to leave in an instant though.
Thinking about diaper changes, do they have a place in the stadium, I don't think the toilets have lids

Do you have to even ask? Apparently....so you need to evaluate your priorities and mush brain!

Not sure I'd take a 7 month old to a HS game.

Gotcha.. So you would just skip the game then? Even if the tickets were given to you for your birthday??
Sounds like poor planning on your part. We got GPs to watch little one.

Definitely bring her. Just plan ahead and be courteous to those around you:
1. earplugs for her are a must or it's child abuse.
2. strategically plan for her to eat a bellyfull right before the game so she'll sleep through most of it.
3. dress her appropriately--light enough so she can be cool, but bring a blanket for swaddling if needed.
4. check diaper frequently, do not inflict even a minute of diaper smell on those around you.
5. be prepared to leave your seats, walk around, etc. to make it fun for her so she stays calm.
6. be prepared to leave the game if you have to.
Children's development is enhanced by stimulating environments like this, have fun with it!
