damn. we woulda missed playoff by 1 spot prior to bowl game or lil nicky woulda had 3 playoff appearances. impressive after rebuilding a program.

Never, LSU is a team that should win a national championship every four to five years. We need a fire in the gut type of coach like Coach Jay Johnson, who can actually inspire great dominate teams. A real leader, not someone who sits back and watches without emotion. Send that yankee packing, please. This team is like watching Curly Hallman’s teams from years past.
Embarrassing to say the least. Not aligned with anything or anyone that truly represents the proud LSU tradition of putting out good to great teams.

I posted a thread about making playoffs at 9-3. If we make the playoffs than absolutely I’m happy but if we don’t make the playoffs. Then 9-3 would be worse case scenario. Because we would go win the toilet bowl for 10 wins. That would give Woodward his out “ you can’t fire a 10 win coach “

if LSU cant finish in the top 12 and make the playoff consistently thats a problem.
