It all depends on how the turf tastes.

I think we're evenly matched with Stanford.

Stanford is a top 5 team and we are not. They would beat us.

Since the team with the best Oline almost always wins...let me check the Oline stats and review last nights game.

I say nosireebob. LSU has a better defense and special teams than anyone Stanford faced all year but I would put their offense in a class with Auburn and Arkansas and if forced to bet would pick the Cardinal in a close one just similar to the two that were lost. Obviously, with the talent onhand LSU is capable of defeating Stanford or anyone else on a given day but the odds would slightly favor Stanford. I will say that the LSU defense pre- Sam Montgomery, Brandon Taylor injuries would have ramped the odds favorably toward the Tigers. The Montgomery loss was huge IMO. He was headed for freshman AA status. The year-end LSU defense with the offensive execution seen against Florida, 'Bama and Ole Miss could give the Cardinal a run for their money. Just too much inconsistancy to pick LSU over them at this point.

i think they fudged the bowls up. Should have had uconn and va tech play. Stanford vs OU would have given us a better idea of the quality of those teams.

WTF are you rantards smoking? VTs rbs are equal or better than our rbs and tyrod is lightyears ahead of JJ. our D is better but it only would have made the score closer.

34-20 stanford and yeah JJ would have been sacked once every 6 dropbacks

I think Stanford would have beaten LSU. However, Miles tends to do the unthinkable, so....

That's the truth and if anyone were betting their own real money on Stanford vs LSU, they would take Stanford.

They have a terrific offense. LSU's is mediocre at best.

LSU has a terrific defense. just sayin'.

But after 12 games this season, I think the one thing we've learned is to not bet on LSU games this season.

Depends on when we played them...

The defense did not look all world near the end of the year and special teams and slowed down on making plays. However, the offense actually looked better.
Stanford I do believe would have won no matter when the game was played however. Luck is a difference maker and Stanford has enough of a run game to give them balance.
Their defense is better than a few teams LSU has played but not all worldly. I think Stanford would have won by 10 but through 3 quarters LSU would have kept it close. I think either Jefferson or Lee would have a turnover that gave Stanford the game.
