Would smashing Clemson help recruiting?

We already crushed Bama, some recruits may then recognize that LSU is the best place to be.

Well, Clemson smashing (with brutality and style simultaneously) the Gumps last year certainly helped them.

We didn't crush Bama!!! Our special teams gave up a punt return, and defensive coaches gave up two stupid touchdowns by putting Dbs in stupid close coverages with no safety help!
Our defense is below average!!
That being said as long as we start winning Bama battle we'll be fine in recruiting. Obviously winning like Clemson did wouldn't hurt.

If we beat Clemson and Ohio State we will have a four or five year run as a very very desireable destination for top,recruits.

Of course it would. They have won 3 of the last 4 national titles and are racking up in recruiting because of the success. If you heat any perennial powerhouse it helps recruiting.
