LSU fans would be the same if they were in the Big 12

Florida fans would be the same if they were in the ACC.

the SEC hasn't created this southern football culture, the fans have.

The SEC is tampering with our favorite pastime, and if it persists and nothing is done about it, fans will eventually lose interest and spend their money elsewhere.

I switch my logo up all the time. The T is up there in hopes that Nu'Keese and JJ are freed.

I agree with this

but not necessarily with this:

I think the hubris of Alabama infected the SEC (in a very good way). I definitely think that the closeness of so many major "state" universities has played right in to a region where for a long time state pride meant little else than "how good is blank university.

If you think that the SEC is just a gathering of athletic programs, you greatly misunderstand the culture of the south.

The SEC is a culture much different than any other. Trust me, I live in Oklahoma, right smack dab in teh middle of the Big12. They don't ahve half the passion as we do. There is no culture.

Of course. But this thread wasn't started to persuade everyone to sweep this under the rug. It was started to persuade Tiger fans and SEC fans to hope and pray that there is no corruption. It would be detrimental to us all if that was the case.

Let's hope that no funny business is going on.

thus, the sec dominance will take a hit. Next year a one loss team from another conference might get the nod.

They still get the $$$ though.

I just don't understand some people DESIRE to have something turn up.
It's either complete incompetence or corruption. Although it would suck worse, it's easier to believe it's corruption rather than the entire officiating team is freebasing pine sol.

I honestly hope that something doesn't come of this. I hope it's all on the up and up.

I'm pissed because our team gets their brains beat out playing in this tough conference, and if the reward for that is home cooking, then we don't need to be in here. Christ, look at the shite teams from weaker conferences that get in the top 10 from being undefeated...

This, worse that it not be dealt with than we go on with the problem

I understand, but I love watching us play in this conference. It really makes me proud to say that LSU competes with the best of the best on a weekly basis.
I really don't want that to change.

This thing could be deeper than anybody thinks. We could be talking about every major call in the Florida, and Bama games.

I mean really think about it, they have most of the national media believing that "the SEC has really poor officiating". Don't you think the SEC would rather have them thinking that than another NCAA sports association is fixing games by bribing field officials and replay offcials. They had everything kinda on track until they fricked up big time. You DONT frick WITH LSU's CHANCE OF BEATING BAMA WITH A BLATENT INT!!

Ok people could have looked at all the other no calls against Bama in that game and for some reason think its just poor officating, but we know that we are getting fricked over just so our most hated rivals can have their little "destined" rematch.

I'm sick of this shite.

I've heard a lot of people say that the refs are incompetent, but i have a hard time believing that the SEC has been infiltrated by hordes of double digit IQ officials.

Too much money at stake and they want to get 2 BCS bids. The SEC has become addicted to that extra payout and is manipulating outcomes to ensure they don't miss out.

No, it's never a good thing to find the truth.

ETA: You are beyond naive if you think this only happens in the SEC.

Wrong is wrong and if there is something corupt yes I want it flushed out and made right...the longer the disease is in the body the worse you are going to become and the same goes if there is any illegal activity going on, as long as it goes uncheck the worse its going to become and sooner or later you will become a victim and if you still do nothing eventually you will be victimize again...The SEC needs an enema!
