The 1992 team which went 2-9 scored 75 points over the first three games of the season. So yeah, we may be kind of trending a little bit.

He could not decipher a defense. At all.

IIRC, Lee didn’t play in the dome. In the first 8 games of the season, before Jefferson came back, his offense averaged 39.25 ppg.

Edited to correct typo

No, sir. Go back and watch YouTubes of Jefferson's performances, esp. in 2009 & 2010. Whatever you think of Nuss, he's far more competent at the QB position than JJ.

The 2014 and 2010 offenses were much worse than this offense.

Jesus Chris on a cracker. Some of you should take a timeout from posting. Nuss could go out their blindfolded and be better than Jefferson.

Seriously, how old are you? Obviously not old enough to have been around to see some of Les' offenses.

Nuss is flirting with Anthony Jennings comparisons

This is the same group Talent Scouts that predicted Bouttte would never be an NFL Receiver.

One of the talking heads stated yesterday, that Nuss was one of the top two offensive players graded in the game.

I promise you it is not even close to the worst. I watched LSU in the 90's! However, I would agree that they are perhaps the most disappointing. Maybe I was wrong to have high hopes for our ability to throw the ball around. I am willing to accept Kelly's explanation of playing winning football. We saw what it was like to put up video game offensive numbers and lose three games. I'm willing to see what we look like against defenses that aren't as tough as the ones we've played. Clemson is allowing 3.17 per carry; Tech is allowing 2.96, and Florida 3.03. On the other hand, Ole Miss is allowing 5.36 per carry. If we struggle to run the ball against them, then I'll be ready to panic!

0 when it mattered the most.

7 again against that same team the time they did win.

and that makes it the worst offense in LSU history, instead of one of the worst preps for a single game. You might need to seek professional help for PTSD.

By saying this, yall are showing that yall never watched them actually play QB at LSU. As frustrating as Nuss is right now, I would have killed for any of the 3 QBs yall listed to put up the stats that Nuss has so far this season. We were literally playing 1950’s football back then. Even though the run game was niceeeee

53 points in 3 games and 23 of that was against an inferior in state rival. Look I hope they get it together like the rest of the LSU faithful I think Nuss is a great kid and deserves to succeed. But so far this offense aside from a few plays have been completely inept and it's inexcusable for the amount of talent that's on that side of the ball. At some point they will have to win the game for us. It may not be the worst in LSU history but they surely are knocking on the door, the offense completely sucks right now.

Our head coach said he put a governor on the offense. Did you hear that?

First head coach in the the history of football that says he's stifling the offense because our defense can win the game all by themselves.

You can't make this shite up.
