The game thread was epic after the ball hit Bregman. Half the thread thought the game ends when the runner crosses the plate no matter what happens.

A lot of people thought Bregman shouldn't have run so the ball would have missed him. They didn't know if UK threw him out at 2nd then the run wouldn't have counted.

It is ludicrous to lose to Kentucky in anything that's not basketball or cheerleading. CPM is now suspect.

Just on a tag out play (where there is no force), if the runner crosses the plate before the tag is made (at another base) the run would count (like a base runner intentionally trying to get caught in a rundown between 1st & 2nd to score a runner at 3rd).
But in this situation, the bases were loaded. It would be no different than grounding out to the SS with 2 outs & the bases loaded. If the SS throws over to 1st & beats the runner, it makes no difference when the runner from 3rd crosses the plate.
