Worst fans in the nation

It’s pretty shameful. This team is young and playing amazing ball this season. I’d say they are even ahead of the planned schedule. Looking at all the threads on here, you’d never know they have only lost two conference games and just beat UK at Rupp. I really hope the players don’t read the Rant. One guy out of the whole lot sticking up for Waters and about 5-6 threads saying how shitty he is. Yep, kid for the Northeast comes down to BR and is probably the most under appreciated relative to his contributions to the program. He was the key piece in getting the basketball program out of the horrid rut that it was in with Jones and 90% of the posters on here are bashing him and the team as a whole. Pretty sad.

anyone know of another message board with this big of a following for another university? i’m sure it’d be more of the same. saying “the worst fans in the nation” is retarded. gonna be idiots in every fan base

Do your research man. I have. LSU fans, at least on a message board platform, are by FAR the worst fans I've ever seen. Dont take my word for it though. Check it out yourself.

In our fans defense, for the last 4-5 years the team loses every single big game at home

Oh, shut up. We just had a disappointing loss, and people have a right to feel bad about it. We have maybe 5 to 10 posters that take it too far, but do you really think they represent the whole base? This reaction to them is just as kneejerk and stupid as theirs to losing a game.

I felt worse after the Arkansas loss, because they're a bad team. Florida isn't great but they have a pulse and are desperate to make it to the tourney. And, they're very well coached.

I laughed at everyone leaving when LSU got down 7 in OT. Then LSU got a quick and 1 and everyone stopped and stood in the walkway between the lower and upper level for the rest of the game.

Weird cause in the middle of the game the commentators were raving on the LSU fan base about how great they are for every sport.
You do know that most national media views LSU fans as some of the best in the nation right? Nobody. I mean nobody outside of the LSU fan base believes that LSU has the worst fans.

Whatever the exact number is, it's a tiny minority.
The entire fan base doesn't need to be called out because of a small group of assholes. I'm bummed we lost, but I'm still pumped about the rest of the season, starting Saturday. And I guarantee you an overwhelming majority of fans feel the exact same way. This " worst fans in the nation" bullshite is just as dumb an exaggeration as the idiots who are saying we suck.
