Senior HS year unspectacular. Not impressive physically, seems lofty status is aided by last name. Just curious about rant thoughts .

If we are being honest those completion percentage and passing yardage numbers are fairly pedestrian for a supposed #1 overall HS player in the country. His TD to interception ratio stands out, but that’s about it. Not a knock on Arch and I’m not even sure of the playmakers he had.

In high school football, yes it is.
Argue about his competition level and being over-rated due to his name all day long, but the kid still looked and played like he was a legit D1 prospect, even if top the overall ranking was a reach.

The whole idea is the fact the family understands he needs a minimum 2 years to be ready for SEC play.
He won’t be ready next year either.
They trust Sark and he is going absolutely no where.
This is not how Mannings roll.
You compete and play for the roll and when you’re ready you start.
It’s refreshing actually, since most quit and think the grass is greener.

LSU is about to become a top tier destination for elite QB recruits. They don’t need Arch, his spotlight, or the unrealistic expectations for him. Do you have a source that he is “thinking” about leaving Texas? It’s not crazy to think he’s perfectly willing to wait 2 years to start.
