I see Woody's already spending that Texas/OU money.

How would it be 100 percent speculative to suggest she will win one.

because she has not and is 0-4 so far.

WRONG. tell that to mike martin at FSU. go count how many CWS he has been to. now tell me how many nattys he has. i will wait.

Wait what??? Tried to steal a mediocre coach?? Now that the women’s BB coach is gone and Pawl is gone she should be next on the chopping block. Unless I mean a regional is our goal as a athletic programs goals. I mean did work for Pawl for 13 years.

I like Beth but this team hasn’t been to OKC since 2017. We are 1-6 in our last 7 super regional games (shut out in 2 of the last 4 games).

They have to address the offense if they ever want to get over the hump. Manufacturing runs vs quality pitching has been our weak point for a while now. That and spotty defense at 2B/catcher.

there are guys who have coached in the WCWS available now. also money talks. when we could not win a natty with alie and carley for 4 years it was not a good sign. if she refuses to get rid of howie she is liable now as is her job. are we stuck in les miles type stuff now like with PM? that is the question.

I was an enthusiastic Beth supporter but I’ve cooled down considerably after this past season—stubbornly sticking with Dobson, that excuse-filled presser after the super, the numbers creeping up on players on the roster who do not belong in the SEC …

I’m conflicted, but I think I would have let her walk.

Yeah, I’m with you on that. Just can’t seem to get over the hump. I’d have thrown that increase or more to the Oklahoma coach. Have we won a conference title with Torina? .

"bump in salary to top 6"

ok guys, what are we arguing over here? 125k in salary? Like for real? We're bitching about what right now? Coach Torina is a very good coach and the appearance of losing a coach to anybody is way more hurtful than a bump in pay.

I'm convinced you're trolling at this point. No way you don't know what you're doing.

Thanks for your input. What do you think the issues are with Torina? Is it stubbornness in not willing to admit that some changes need to be made in coaches? Is it coaching style or ability? Is it not recruiting a balanced roster? Are we being out recruited by a lot of other schools? No doubt we have good seasons nearly every year but some things apparently need to change if we’re what, 9 seasons in and we have yet to win a conference championship much less a national one.

she has been here this long and keeps sinking with dobson. refuses to make changes. if she won't make any she won't win natty.

she will end up being les miles the 3rd.

pawl was les junior. at least pawl played for 2 nattys and won 1 like les. torina has not won a natty much less played for a natty yet. all 3 are hard headed beyond belief

Beth is solid and espouses family values unlike Compton and Peppa Cajun.....we did well to hire someone like her. Torina will be successful, despite the latter year slide, she is working to get the Lady Tigers on top!!! Book it Dano!!

Did the BOS give the superfan a raise too? Saw he spoke to the incoming freshmen from the Atlanta area sponsored by the LSU Alumni chapter there...

Top six salary for a top 15-20 program. She’d better crank it up a notch.
LSU softball is a 9-16 program. They make the Super Regionals every year. But your point is well made.
