CMM buyout would be almost $10 million if we fired him after this year. Is no one going to hold this fat piece of shite accountable for these IDIOTIC contracts?! I mean shite this clown was coaching at Murray freaking State. Did you really have to sway him with that much money?

Yes he did have to sway him. Program gutted by cheating former coach. Average program
at best playing in a ran down crappy building with rec park facilities. You think we are Duke or Kentucky??? I always thought the Pawl Marinara fan boys were the dumbest fans on earth but the will wade cult takes the cake.

As of last season, he has the 21st highest buyout, 49th highest salary. Seems about right considering the mess the incoming coach had to inherit.

If you think McMahon's contract is an example of overpaying for a coach, you just proved how clueless you are.

Is the product on the court worth what he is being paid, I think most would agree it is not. Is his pay unreasonable for the head coach of the LSU MBB program, not really. Considering the situation he was inheriting and that he was leaving a program that would compete for the conference title and an NCAA auto-bid every season, his compensation seemed reasonable.

His name was bandied about as an up-and-coming coach. As with all of these lower-level coaches, you don't know how they perform when they move up until they are in the crucible that is a power conference. It looks like McMahon was not the guy for this rebuild.

He is the worst. Skenes, Crews and Mulkey bought him a lot of tiime, but for the most part, he really isn't good at his job. The ease of which he can award these megas and get some kind of kick back from the person is scary, the comments on the web certainly make me think that happens.

He has the lowest buyout in the SEC

He’s also the lowest paid coach in the league

Maybe the actual problem was going cheap with the hire. I think he got what he paid for. Just a thought, but please carry on with your melt

Whether SW overpays his hires is a fair question.
But Mulkey is certainly not sub par, nor Johnson ( his best hire).
And Kelly and CMM are not sub par either.
But Kelly looks like Jimbo 2.0 at this point and CMM is underperforming his pay level, too.

You posted positively when he was hired. You didn't say a single negative thing about him at the time. Don't try to rewrite history.

"Big game hunter"
"Woody"
And all the other garbage nicknames y'all have named this dufus....

Throws money around recklessly so of course he can harpoon his target. McMahons salary given his resume was a joke. Hiring an overrated Fisher at aTm should have been enough of a warning
flag. The only FSU team that did anything was because of Jameis Winston.

Woodward would be they type to hire Calapari.

LSU literally had zero players on the team when they hired him. Do you NOT remember that?

That’s false, everyone that wasn’t out of eligibility or entering the draft was still here when he was hired. He was hired on March 22, the portal didn’t even open for nearly a month after that

He spends money like a crazy wife draining her husband's bank account.
