She took shots. She just didn't shoot very well all season.

She does look much better on her feet this season. I’m glad for her. That foot injury was a real thing last season. Maybe with expansion she’ll stick somewhere but with her lack of size and playmaking ability, and most of all, no defense, I don’t see her making a WNBA roster.

And yes, SEC guards routinely blew by her and Caitlin Clark absolutely humiliated her in that 2024 Elite Eight game. So if she makes an WNBA roster I’ll be surprised.

She is a 2 guard that was asked to run the point. Her ball handling and lack of defense was the problem…period

Honestly, I don't think she was welcomed with open arms by all of her teammates and they didn't help at all.
A lot of downvotes, but 100% true. Her work at pg on offense involved letting her take the ball across halfcourt under pressure but no help like she was suddenly John Stockton. After she made the first pass she was sent to the far corner never to get the ball swung back.

On defense she was expected to shut down the opposing pg one on one. Leaving her on an island against Caitlin Clark was downright criminal.

Lack of playmaking ability??

Not the case in the game that just happened.

I think he means she struggles to create her own shot and beat defenders off the dribble. To score she basically needs to come off a screen and shoot. Or at least that’s how she played last year. She looks quicker this year since her foot has healed.

The greatest scorer in WBB history killed her one on one. So what? She could humiliate anybody.

Its one of the odder nil era misses i just don't understand. Easy answer is she just didn't fit but Kims a hall of fame coach, i would have thought she could have figured out how to use her and get the most out of her skill set...

She just dropped 26 on Notre Dame in a win. It’s just fit. Everything in life is timing and fit. Seems like she hit both at TCU. Happy for her!

I don’t question Mulkey much, but I don’t understand why FlauJae was not used on Clark in that game. There was no world HVL was going to be able to handle her.

Great, she seems like a good kid, I'm rooting for her. She was a one dimensional player at LSU and I think it was because she struggled with a foot injury all year.

I think the foot was a major problem as well. I don’t believe she ever had a problem fitting in with the other players. I think that was overblown.

If LSU doesn't win it all I hope TCU does
