Time to put football talk on the back burner until Signing day. Baseball can wait. We have a 12-3 team that has won 5 straight and we play a ranked team tomorrow. What is wrong with you people?
LETS GEAUX

Timely photo. Think he was just pointing out he had a mismatch

I am excited about this team, and I watch or listen every game that I possibly can, but my mind takes a little while to break from football season, to the point that I'm talking about basketball much before game day.
Once February hits, I'm much more engaged is discussing basketball. Baseball, I'm always ready for. My love for baseball has a lot of nostalgic memories attached to it, and it just makes me feel like a kid again when I watch it.

This IS a big game tomorrow, though, no doubt about it.
Never would have thought Ole Miss would be an exciting match up this year.

Ole Miss is a very well-coached team with Kermit. LSU can't afford many mistakes.
We're bigger, more athletic, and should control the glass. If we take care of the ball and make our FTs down the stretch, should get the W.

The basketball mantra is boot up, leave that we comin shite with 0 cause he’ll always be comin and won’t get there. Ole miss is on fire right now and they have one of the toughest venues in the SEC. we have to stop their dibble penetration and keep them off of the offensive glass. Their guards and wings are their strength but they also have a really big 7 footer in the paint so we’ll need a big game from KVB once again. He had his worst game last time out so look for him to rebound. This is for a share of first place tmrw and ole miss has earned their place atop the SEC so we have to treat this as we would a Kentucky or Tennessee. Let’s go and prove that we are one of the top teams in this league.

I believe their 7 footer is pretty much it as far as size goes that gets minutes. If Reid and KBW can both stay out of foul trouble, that's something we can exploit.

Agree but if they go with the combo of the big boy and Stevens 6-8, 252lbs that’s a duo who can be very physical and can maybe give us problems on the offensive glass as well as clogging things up on the defensive end. We can’t take anybody or any area of this team lightly, we’ll need our A game to win this one.

And Ole Miss was picked to finish last in the SEC. Pundits don't know shite.

Exactly, wasn’t Tennessee picked to finish last a season ago?

Kermit Davis is too good of a coach to finish last regardless of his talent level. I'm shocked he's flown under the radar screen so long after what he did at Middle TN over the last several years.
Ole Miss made a great hire.

I thought Kermit was gonna be our guy when we fired Johnny before Alleva went after Wade.

Unfortunately LSU doesn’t have very many basketball fans.

One of the better Ole Miss teams I have seen over the last 20 years. Maybe 3rd best. What they did against Auburn was take them to the woodshed. And to win at the Hump? We better boot up.
