With the new AD, do midweek games matter now?

Is CPM in the hot seat to produce now that Alleva is out? Finally nice to see us win a midweek.

Too many posters are short sighted. Midweek games are a symptom of larger issues. I imagine Scott will have a very candid conversation with Paul after the season.

The 09 team lost a few. What was the larger issue there?
The 17 team also lost a few. They seemed to do ok.

The midweek games don’t count narrative is totally made up by sunshine pumpers. Just one Monday before this week CPM on his show said that he viewed every game individually and as an equal opportunity for wins including weekday games. He also said last season that what’s unique about coaching at a program like LSU is the fact that there is pressure to win midweek games. So the very talking points our sunshine pumpers use to defend Pawl was shot down by Pawl himself.

If I asked you to show me LSU's record for midweek games since 2010, it would take you awhile to compile the data and go through each season to look over it and find out.
In other words, nobody cares if you win your division and make it to a Super and/or Omaha

Explain, in great detail, the nature of those losses during both of those seasons, as well as the general feeling amongst LSU fans at that time.
If you can't, then know you are who I was referring to as being short sighted. 09 was 10 seasons ago. 17 was an outlier, riddled with the same issues we see today.
