Man, I can't believe how many tiger fans hate their football program this much. they are slandering our school without mercy or shame.

I know that things haven't gone the way you wanted, and there are some good issues to be pissed about. but, man, to just be hating all over LSU like that. and it's not just coach O you hate. you hate everything.

I say this - you know what it's gonna take to turn everything around? a real offense. an honest to goodness passing attack. not just play-action passing deep or the short dinks. over the middle.

i'll be honest, I don't know if coach O has the balls to be aggressive enough on offense next year, because it means gambling on mistakes. I think ensminger will try to light it up, and I wouldn't mind seeing a 40-60 run pass ratio.

we open it up, start having success moving the ball thru the air, and still lose 3 games because of inexperience at qb and tough schedule, i'll be optimistic. we play it safe and I have a feeling a lot of you guys get your wish for a new coach, sooner rather than later.

if O doesn't have the balls, I won't be defending him.

Plot twist

You aren’t the friend, you’re the enemy. You’ll realize this once LSU is sitting at 6 losses this season and look back

on the contrary, we love LSU football. What we hate is how it's being run.

We care more about LSU than someone who is hunky dory with whatever clown show that rolls into town, that's for sure.

A few have tried to explain it here, its something like "because I care so much about the program I have to hate it to show how much I care?

Its very complicated.

you dont get it

having a good offense is one thing, but having a program that regularly competes is about having quality leadership at the top and its clear that is not the case

At this point, I want O to name his dog as quality control coach just to read some of you numbnuts tell us we're not good fans for not giving Reauxver a chance.

you guys hate everyone who doesn't hate the program. it all turns into a personal attack.

it's a game, man. I enjoyed last season. I expect to enjoy watching next season.

life has no guarantees of satisfaction. doesn't mean i'm giving O a blank check. if he doesn't deliver an offense next season we'll need to look real hard at a quick change.

LMAO supporting the program as it's being run now does nothing but hurt the program in the long run. cheering I love losing four or more games a year only brings the program down.

And everyone who wanted Obama out of office hated America.

Oh, and everyone who wants Trump out of office hates America.

same reasoning.

Basically with friends like you, who needs football?

FWIW, this is more of an offensive vision than I've seen O express at any point in his career. I'm sure if O expressed something like this he would just change his mind a couple of weeks later anyways.

When you see someone is about the crash the car do you wait until you actually hit the telephone pole to worry about it?

That sword cuts both ways - anyone who isn't fully on board with O and Alleva are "not real fans" and are told to GTFO and go pull for Alabama.

Can you not agree that, at best, "our school" has made numerous illogical decisions over the last 3-4 years? That's what people are pissed about.

The AD wanted to move on from Miles. Fine. There were logical reasons to do so. However, in doing so you:

a. Have a failed coup that turns into a ridiculous PR event. (Have you ever seen a coach carried off in his "last game", only to be informed 15 minutes later it isn't his last game?)

b. You fire your coach mid-season. Put all of your eggs into one basket. Then, when that plan doesn't work out you unnecessarily rush to the podium to hire a guy no one else wanted?

c. The AD hires Ogeron based upon a grand plan to make LSU a championship contender. The plan blows up almost immediately when the OC included within that plan doesn't come.

d. The coach hires "the best OC in the nation" for $4.5 million. 3 games into the season he hates him and his offense, leading to the OC's firing at the end of the season and subsequent payment of $3.2 million for ONE YEAR of work.

e. No search is done to replace the departed OC with another "best coordinator". Instead, you decide to more than double your TE's coach's salary just so he'll accept a job he doesn't really want.

f. The HC, who is ONLY positively known for his recruiting ability fails to sign even the full allotment of players and turns in one of the school's lowest ranked recruiting classes in 15 years.

It isn't just baseless criticism from the fans. It's recognition of seemingly one frick up after another with no reason to believe the end of that trend is near because the same bozos responsible (Alleva and Ogeron) are still in charge.

and one day the administration is going to learn that if they continue to disregard what their customer base wants, it will eventually come back to bite them in the arse. We're already seeing it with dwindling crowds in tiger stadium.

So fans didnt hire the coach? No one on the board is a fan of LSU? the ad isnt a fan of his own program? the president isnt a fan of his school? the governor isnt a fan of the state school?

If the fans that buy tickets just dropped their donations and didnt renew, you dont think that would send a fricking message?
