The key to this game being a blowout or very close will be our young DTs if they have improved, and can stuff the run or hold that center of the line up, look out, if not its going to be a long game period. I still think we can put a safety or backer to help though and mayb get beat a few time and be ok. I don't see how Wisky can stop our offense, mainly the rushing attack and I can assure you they will have some big TE PA or FB PA mixed in there. Our TEs are too good not to. LSU will be able to pass. I guess we will all find out soon lol

all i'm saying is there will be much more rotation. does that mean LSU will stop the run better? idk, remains to be seen. freak didn't have a good year, and ego couldn't do it by himself.

Going from the quote:
What kind of player is Hunter anyways? A speedy, pash-rushing defensive end? Run stopper?

i said they have the ABILITY...defensive strategy has to account for the offenses abilities.
Stave can throw downfield. He has a very good arm. He is just inconsistent. He'll make one great throw and then throw a pick on the next pass.

Didn't have anyone behind them?
they did, but they weren't developed enough I guess. coaches call obviously.

The guys we had behind them are the starters now.
What does that say?
that they weren't ready and now they are?

look at most teams yardage, majority come in the 2nd and 3rd quarter....by the fourth quarter, a team is either trailing and pass heavy or in the lead, running obvious run plays that are cookie cutter 3 yard gains.
i know this is the case in all lsu games last year at least, it's strategy mostly

yeah, but that doesn't fit his agenda.

last year he was pure pass rush but he has put on good weight to be at 240 lbs...he can stop the run but his strength is his quickness

What did Penn State and Ohio State do to Wisconsin that slowed their run game? I havn't watched those games yet but I'm sure Les and the coaches will.

OK, I'm not disputing that. But this actually supports what i'm saying about the other poster's argument. We didn't get worn down, we just weren't that good to begin with.

I don't have an "agenda." I am only trying to tell you guys that Wisconsin can run the ball well.
How is that so hard to accept? Running the ball is what Wisconsin does.

No one knows what will happen in a game. Can Wisc beat us? Of course. One thing is for sure though...
Although Wisconsin has faced as large a defense as LSU has, and even larger, I guarantee they haven't faced a defense as fast and as fit and as deep as LSU's while retaining that size.
Maybe Wisc wins but I like us!

are you not reading?
a big majority of people in here know they can run the ball and know that gordon will put up 120-150 yards on us.
WE KNOW THIS

Ohio State is just better. Penn State game was an outlier. UW sleep walked into the second half and got beat.
