I see no reason for LSU to throw more than 10-15 passes this game. I don't think they will be able to stop our run game at all.

I don't see it, but I guess stranger things have happened

their schedule is a joke. Assuming they don't play in the Big ten title, Nebraska is their only other decent team.

Melvin Gordon and Wisky's O-Line being very good literally means nothing. Yes, they are really good, but our defense is also really good.

LSU's defense has shut down big time offensive threats several times in the last few years.

Bottom line is LSU has an overwhelming talent advantage over Wisconsin. That alone is enough to defeat them. Throw in the fact that we have Miles, Chief, and Cam as our coaches and a young, hungry, and experienced defense, it is not foolish to assume a blowout.

Felder from BR needs to not "get stuck on stupid". Based on schedule Wisky very well could be 11-1, but that loss WILL be to LSU. No doubt this will be a tough game, but with White and Robinson locking down the WRs and a minimal passing threat, we are going to stack the line and make Wisky grind out every yard.

I think you guys are severely underestimating the size and power of the Wisconsin offensive line. They're big and nasty. This won't be an easy game for LSU at all. I still think LSU will win, but it will be a slug fest.

LSU - 23
Wisconsin - 21

Wisky ran the ball against USCe quite well in their bowl game. 43 attempts, 293 yards, 6.8 per attempt.

Yes and Alabama rushed for close to 193 yards and put up 38 points. Auburn ran for 213 yards and put up 21 points. What's your point?

You guys are flat out ignorant if you don't think Wisconsin will at least rush for 150 yards.

LSU's d-line is going to have their work cut out for them, especially the new tackles stuffing the run.

I think they'll be better than ego/freak though, and have more depth behind them than last year.

freak/ego got tired towards the end of games.

Running the ball is what Wisconsin does, and they have done it against better DEs than Hunter.
that's not the problem for them. they have no passing game. lsu can stack the box, leave the corners by themselves and win the numbers game.

on the other side of the ball, lsu will be able to throw with just enough success to give the run game some space against a defense that isn't imposing.

lsu controls the clock and ball. w 24-14.

incidentally, they think wisky beats lsu and loses to Nebraska, on paper. so lsu is an obvious win and Nebraska is in doubt. ok nostradamus.

Both of those teams ran the ball effectively against LSU last year. Alabama posted nearly 200. Auburn posted more than 200.

Personally, I don't really care how many yards they rush for. I just care about how many touchdowns they score.

Agree that Stave can't beat our corners consistently. I think UW's passing game will focus on the TEs. Our LBers will have to be very disciplined. If they get sucked in on play action you might see their TEs running free over the middle.

Like I said earlier, I believe that LSU will win. LSU is the all-around better team. But, Wisconsin is Wisconsin. They run the ball effectively on everyone.

UMASS - 393 yards
Tennessee Tech - 387 yards
Arizona State - 231 yards
Purdue - 388 yards
Ohio State - 104 yards
Northwestern - 286 yards
Illinois - 289 yards
Iowa - 218 yards
BYU - 229 yards
Indiana - 554 yards
Minnesota - 197 yards
Penn State - 120 yards
South Carolina - 293 yards
