Waters and Mays are so much better than Dukes 1/2. The only mismatch is Zion. I say just let emitt play bully ball with him

You don’t think RJ Barrett the #2 pick is a mismatch? Some of you people need to stop for a second and think about how good Duke really is. We absolutely could beat them, but some people are acting like they can’t even play with LSU.

Lol, their 1-4 are all projected first round picks this year. Their 2-4 are projected lottery picks.
I think we can beat them, but waters and Mays are not better than Jones and Barrett.

Tre Jones is their PG and RJ Barrett is their SG. Tre Jones is a boarderline R1 draft pick this year and Barrett is a concensus lottery pick.

Didn’t realize Barrett played SG figures he was their SF. Either way I think Waters is better than Jones. Barrett is better than Mays. I would say it’s a push.

You think Barrett and Mays is a push? I love Mays but Barrrett is the #2 pick in the draft and Mays wouldn’t be drafted. Cam Reddish and Barret switch between the 2 and 3, and even Reddish is a top 10 pick.

Duke is overrated as frick. They blitzed people before people realized how they played, and they can still blitz you in one of two ways.
1)You don’t have multiple shot creators and they smother you with aggressive defense leading to fast breaks and easy buckets. We have three elite(for college) level shot creators in mays/smart/Waters.
2)You have short and/or unathletic interior men and you let Zion and Barrett bully you. We have Reid and KBW. Zion and Barrett will get theirs, but they won’t overrun us.
Villanova last year was light years better as a college team.

LSU does have a bitch of a schedule in this tournament. MSU, Duke, and probably UNC, it was never going to be easy for them.

Duke had 3 guys go 40 minutes another 32. They are 7 deep. Could help playing them on Sunday. Michigan state seems to rotate better.
