The FBI wasn’t investigating Wade. In fact, the wiretap recordings were so irrelevant to the DOJ’s case they didn’t even want to use it at trial. The ONLY reason you got word of the tape is because one of the defendant’s attorneys leaked it to the media to try to sway support for his client.
At this point the program would be fortunate to have negative attention. At least that would be SOME attention. The SEC is having a historic year in basketball and LSU is a complete and total non-thought. Not even an afterthought.

Here is the cliff notes, he was hit for not producing text massages fast enough and paying a blackmail made by a former VCU player’s fiancé. That’s the Level 1 findings. Coincidentally, football got hit for paying a recruit’s parents in the same report.
