Yes...easy if we come to play. And I know they have a good QB.

If we don't have a hangover from Florida sure. I doubt it though. WKU is not exactly a cream puff. Considering how our secondary has played this year it will be a very good test for them. Could go either a shootout or the secondary finally showing a shutdown performance. Talent is there but they haven't executed much this year.

Historically under Miles, we've always seemed to play down to competition. Plus, our guys just fought one hell of a fight.

I'm not a betting man, but if there is a week for LSU to not cover, next week against a top 5 scoring offense might be it

Has LSU covered one game this year?

I don't recall.

Based on what?? Who have they beaten? A bunch of bottom tier teams. They've played some of the worst teams in college football. Except for their Vandy game, every single one of their wins has come against teams LSU considers "rent a wins".

LSU is 3-3 against the spread. LSU historically runs right at 50% ATS.

Again more dumb fans who don't have a clue about anything just saying stuff. LSU is 3-3 ATS.
So yes we covered half of our games. Get a clue. Please. Post less

And? What's your point? That doesn't mean they lack the ability to rake points up on offense. Who has LSU played on offense this year and yet, teams are not having trouble passing on this secondary at all. Goes both ways because LSU secondary hasn't been impressive and they certainly haven't played any great offensive teams. The best would probably be MSU since Dak is a really good QB and they almost beat us.

Seems you're confident in WKU's ability to beat the spread. Go bet the house on it. It's your money. Post in this thread how much you're dropping on WKU so I can laugh at your mistake next Sunday. Please do.

Here's the juggernaut defenses WKU has played against.

Total defensive yards per game:
Vandy 377...WKU won going away 14-12. Vandy is ranked 123 in offensive scoring per game. If Vandy had any resemblance of an offense they would have rolled WKU.
La Tech 387
Indiana 478
Miami (OH) 476
Rice 488
Mid Tenn 413
N Texas 550

LSU...297...ranked 10th in the nation.

Believe it or not, WKU runs a balanced offense. They're not all pass happy as you believe. They will not be able to run on LSU, thus they will have to pass MORE against us. They haven't played against a defensive front like ours and we will hammer their QB. Unlike you, I believe in our DB's. And they will have a field day against WKU after they abandon the run.

Do you honestly believe the teams they've played against have the same caliber of defensive backs as LSU does? Do you believe the teams they've played have the same ability to pressure the QB as LSU?
