You may be underestimating what the AD had hanging over him.
I can tell you one thing, and I loved/love WW, but Cal, Dick Pat weren't stopping until they got what they wanted, it wasn't stopping. And you may say so what - let 'em but all the were bringing was more than just mean tweets and articles.

It's not about "show cause" or "sanctions." It is about WW acting like a child and damaging LSU's reputation. WW needed to be fired for a number of reasons.....but, the most important is a violation of a clause in his contract.....Will Wade brought shame to the LSU Athletic Department and LSU.

How do you think said boss felt when he got that email from the investigating authority that you in fact hadnt complied with any request for interviews/depositions or the production of documents and were actively evading the process?
Thats how you get fired for cause.

For reference ATM just had 6 level 2 violations for 25 different events and all they got was the head coach getting a 2 game suspension and recruiting visits restrictions.

Exactly, I love how all the haters just ignore that Johnny Jones was on Dawkins “pay sheet” with 25 and 15k paid to Martin and Quarterman but that’s all memory holed to push these narratives

You’re conflating two different things at different times. He never hid from Alleva, they set a meeting then altered it so Wade didn’t attend. They were in contact before and after so there was no “hiding” from Alleva’s little trap.
