So who does that leave for the last assisstant position? I heard the guy from NC State & Umass mentioned. Obviously one is out.

I would think Schroyer is out. Chatman is supposed to be the Louisiana guy.
They are both currently unemployed. Not sure what the delay would be. Perhaps Heiar was Wade's top choice and he didn't want to hire anyone else until he had him locked up.

There was some lawsuit filed by an ex of a UMASS assistant coach that Chatman got named on. I wonder if that could be delaying the process on bringing him in, or even eliminating him from contention.

Maybe. Sounds like he just got caught up in a whole lot of crazy involving fellow assistant coach, Lou Roe and his ex-girlfriend. It is alleged that Roe and the girlfriend (plaintiff) had some meeting in the coaches office at UMass and that Chatman and the strength coach violated her civil rights by not letting her leave the room until the meeting was over. Evidently there is a long history between Roe and the woman.
In any event, Chatman is a BR native and VERY well connected in the Louisiana HS basketball community. Him being on staff could go a long way in LSU locking down the state's top players.

Sounds like something that shouldn't prevent him from getting hired.
