He would've RECRUITED a team filled with DAWGS that would've outperformed what our current funeral home director has put on the floor for 4 MISERABLE YEARS.
Yes, there are coaches better than Wade. But not as many as you dorks on this site claim that there are. And how many are a legit option for LSU?
If you care about LSU basketball being highly competitive again (and I'm pretty sure a lot of the anti Wade sentiment is from the baseball bros who want to keep baseball more relevant than basketball at LSU), Will Wade is the obvious hire IF he wants to come back.

Maybe I am wrong, but why is Will Wade itching to get back to the place that fired him? I was a huge fan of his when he was coach here. I just don’t understand the optimism on this I guess.

The only thing that causes that program to make $$ is the SEC TV Deal. LSU has the Lowest NiL Budget in the SEC. Same as last year. Last year 14 of 16 SEC Teams made the NCAA Tourney. LSU and So Car were the only 2 not to make it. Wanna guess what 2 had the lowest NiL?
