Will this hurt recruiting?

Until we name a new HC, I'm sure the other SEC schools will be all over our top recruits.

The short answer is yes in some way...but to what degree nobody knows and will depend largely on the hire.

Absolutely. Remember the 2005 recruiting class?

Probably. Some recruits have already made some puzzling tweets

What would hurt more 8 or 9 games of piss poor offense? Or a clear sign that things will change and maybe a little sign of life.
The latter sounds better to me.

Dylan Moses' father has already said as much about his own son.

it's a pill we're going to have to swallow to move ahead.

Will the firing hurt recruiting more than another shittier season under Miles? Idk, hard to say which is worse. Recruiting was bound to take a hit either way.

Not if they get moving and hire a top tier offensive minded coach. And by the sounds of things they are doing just that. Keeping miles here all season with the way the offense was looking would hurt just as bad.

People scream for change and then start worrying when they get it.
We'll be fine.

That kid may turn out to be something, but he sure seems like a glory boy candy arse. He has all the makings of high school stud that gets owned on the next level

Of course. I think that is probably the biggest drawback of firing Les now. Every coach that is currently on the staff has very little chance of staying on with a new coach. All of your coaching targets will be playing through November and possibly later. Your current recruits are going to be poached for an extra 2+ months now.
A new coach may have an entirely new philosophy and pick up recruits as a result, but the downside is certainly the recruiting concerns at this point.

Not like Les did anything with great recruiting classes anyway! We'll be fine going forward.
