I ask this because a handful of posters have defended Les like he was OJ and they are the dream team.
Les would look great on the sidelines with a white glove to match the goofy white hat.

All the evidence in the world pointing to a guilty verdict will be ignored by the Pumper People though. He'll be found innocent no matter what.

Watch, we'll beat JSU this weekend and bad times in Lambeau will all be forgotten. They'll look away, look away, they'll look away because they're living in fantasy land............

Some of them already are.

A few never left. And never will.

Choc,

If we are lucky enough to finish strong (with the same offense) and Les stays,

What happens next year when the studs are gone and we're right back where we are now?

This can't continue. It's toxic.

Agree next year will likely be worse under miles so he better find a way to win the west if he wants to stay. I give that a 1 in 100 chance but I will say it's still not impossible.

I will eat crow like a champ. On the other hand, I was one of the VERY few not seduced by the Jim Jones offense. I had us winning against Wisconsin and still only scoring 17. Obviously I was wrong about the result. Still, I have ZERO faith in the offense Les and Cam will trot out. As such, I have ZERO faith that we will win out. That's why I believe Les will, and should be inho, fired.
Sadly, I predict no crow for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Rickdaddy4188 nobody wants to here your crap anymore. you sat here defending Les Miles for like 30 plus pages only a week ago. You can throw your facts crap out there all you want but what has he done since that BCS game. dude is barely over 500 in the SEC. Funny how it blew up in your face after only a week . At least you finally admit a change needs to be made. Most tiger fans saw the writing on the wall a few years ago but pumpers like you point to the overall when the most recent wasnt so pretty. See bobby bowden. Les Lived off of defense and his bullcrap offensive scheme was his undoing deal with it. I'll leave you this link for the facts you like so much(scroll down the page so you can see the carnage). hotseat

I want this team to win every week. I will cheer for the team. I have their back. Miles will be replaced this year. I choose not to whine like a child throwing a "fire everyone now" tantrum. Geaux Tigers!!!

Me too. But I don't have faith in Les or Cam so if things don't consistently improve then Les has to go...now. The question isn't if you support the Tigers, we all do or we wouldn't be on a damn message board. The question is, will success, no matter how frustrating to endure offensively, cause you to want to keep Les around for next year, when we likely lose a ton on the offensive side of the ball?

The moment of truth is near. Even Beefence wants Les gone as of the morning. Let's see how the pumpers perceive things after tonight's win.

We need to be 6-2 going into the Alabama game.

So we can be 6-4 going into the South Alabama game? Are there really people who will be happy with that?

The only chance for a good season (10-2 or better) would have been to be undefeated going into the Alabama game. Alabama and Arkansas are guaranteed losses.

I think a strong and convincing win today will give us some hope, esp if the mistakes of last week are not repeated (OL being lost, ST screw, poor WR catching, etc)

but I don't think there will be any "backsliding" based on today's game. if we begin to win and play crisp, well executed football and it appears last week was an aberration then, yes, there will be backsliders. i'll probably be one of them.

i'll add that I do not expect that we will begin to play with very good execution. I fully expect the late play calling, missed blocks, penalty laden, non threatening passing game and lousy punting and kicking to continue. probably not near as bad as last week though. there seems to be serious dysfunction in the key pieces of our O; OL, QB, WR and TE's. they do not play fundamentally sound football, regardless of the "scheme". which, by the way, I doubt this O could execute a spread offense either.

I have and always will pull for the Tigers. Never hated on CLM nor stuck my head in the sand about play calling, offense qb's and so forth kinda felt like family, tiger fans could praise him or cuss him but no one else could. Now sloppy play has gone beyond offense and other signs of under achieving are hitting us head on. I will say thanks for 11 good years and good luck but the game has passed you by. Time for a change. A part of me hates it and part of me is ready. I might be wrong but I think this sums it up for lots of tiger fans. GEAUX TIGERS!!

If we win out up to Ole Miss there will be some that think that those cupcakes should just keeping Les around. If we pull an upset versus Ole Miss or Bama the sunshine pumper will be out in force.

Would that really be wrong though?

If this team wins out until Bama they'll be 5-0 in the SEC, 7-1 overall. Considering how we looked against Wisconsin, that would likely require a significant change in offensive efficiency if not the scheme altogether. A little sunshine pumping at that point would be justified, although it would still all hinge on the Alabama game.

If that happens, I will change my direction 180 degrees. There is no chance in hell it happens, but if Miles pulls that off, I am all in for the rest of his tenure.

Of course they will. Tonight after the game they'll be here in force with their talking point cards, ready to tell us his record, stats, and other human interest tidbits about the man they have a major man crush on.

I think lsu comes back strong the next several games and goes into ole miss with 1 loss.

That's where the trouble starts. Again.

Doesn't change the fact that we need a new coach.

It's Sunday, and the backslide begins. There is a reason con men frick over the same people again and again. At some point you aren't a victim, you are just stupid.
