Will the legend of the (O)Possum continue on?

The story is the stuff of legends - an opossum comes on the field and hisses at the opponent and the team comes back from a 9-1 deficit to win the game. Will this continue on to future seasons and other sports, similar to other schools and stories? - the cow bell comes to mind. I would hope not.

Mike VI, get well soon!

Unfortunately, yes. Ten, twenty, and thirty years from now people will still be waving their 'possums in the name of fandom. These things don't just go away.

The possum is dead. However, I appreciate what it meant this season. It was fun while it lasted.

I would rather see the rally possum tradition carry on than I would the number 18 tradition in football.

Please just let it die. It was a nice trend while it lasted, and the run to earn a national seed was fun, but it's run its course bro
