Will Saban play the DB that has been indicted for a violent felony offense?

Earlier this week, Alabama DB Deionte Thompson was indicted by a grand jury for felony aggravated assault. Not arrested.....Indicted!
You may not have heard about it because no one dare question Lord Saban. He is still on the team and it is presumed will play in this weekend's game.
Any other coach or program would be getting crucified for this. Instead, we are talking about Devin White's little brother analogy. Yet another reason to hate Bama.

I'm always amazed at the pass Saban gets.
Get arrested in a car with drugs and guns. No biggie.
Get shot in the leg in a bar parking lot. Whatever.
Have a second arrest for credit card fraud and second degree robbery. No big whoop.

why shouldn't Saban play him? he's a mercenary as are the players, they're certainly not "student-athletes," they're being paid to play, so they should play

I know the victim's parents. The Gump was videoed kicking him in the face while he was unconscious. The indictment is for felony assault. How he hasn't been dismissed from the team is beyond me. Hell, the university should expel him.

I think I read where Nicky said he was going to let the legal system play out before he commented on it .
I bet it plays out around 5:30 Saturday afternoon .

Not gonna happen. The Machine turns a blind eye to rape so assault is no sweat off their balls. U of Alabama is truly the most corrupt entity next to Congress. I think their time is up though since the FBI has gotten involved in college athletics, look for that golden palace to fall hard in the next few years. TICK TOCK

The "legal system" has become quite the sliding scale.
It used to be -"he has only been accused; not arrested"
Then -"he has only been arrested; not indicted/charged"
Now - "he has only been indicted; not convicted"
Next - "he has only been convicted; but the appeals process is still ongoing"

I don't know what else anyone could ask him to have to go through to pay his debt to society.
