Has a HOF career outside of the PED suspension.

He’s in a very elite tier of recruits that were definitely worth their hype from day 1 on campus. HOF football iq and career….love ole Pat Pete.

He’s got the longevity, the stats, and the accolades. Idk that CBs need rings to get in. That’s a QB and Coach stat. I think he’s in.

8 - pro bowls
3 - 1st team all pros
Made the all decade team for the 10s

He’s in.

He was a top 5 corner for most of his career. I’d say he’s first ballot, him and Mathieu single-handedly turned around that Arizona defense

Not to say that he wasnt using PEDs cuz I think he probably was, but they did not catch him. What they caught was a diuretic not PEDs. That is generally used to mask PED use tho.

When a pure freak of an athlete that’s also a first ballot Hall of famer in Calvin Johnson says you’re the best corner they’ve ever lined up against I’m pretty sure he’ll get in on his first try. Only thing missing from Pat’s resume is a Super Bowl.

Pro Football Reference has a stat that attempts to capture things HOF voters typically care about and combine it into a catch-all number

Peterson has the highest number of anyone not currently in the Hall. It's a strong case.

LINK

One of his all-pros is as a returner, but this HOF monitor also doesn't consider the all-decade team nod, which carries a lot of weight at positions where counting stats are a little less important.

There's a bit of a backlog so he probably won't be first ballot...but I think he'll very likely get in.

Should be (also should've won the heisman).

NFL voters don't seem to care as much at about failed tests as MLB voters. Likely second or third ballot.
